Getting Started

DuelX is a competitive gaming platform where players compete head-to-head or in community tournaments across Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Rocket League for real money.

Yes. Signing up is free. You only fund your wallet when you're ready to enter a paid match or tournament — free XP matches and free tournaments are available too.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Fortnite, and Rocket League. Each game has its own cash and XP matchfinder plus a leaderboard.

Every DuelX match is player-versus-player and decided purely by skill — there is no chance element, no house betting against you, and no random outcomes. You choose your opponent, you play the match, and the better player wins the pot.

Cash Matches

Pick a game, post or accept a challenge, both players' entry fees are held in escrow, you play the match, and the winner receives 100% of the pot — instantly. The platform fee is charged upfront alongside your entry, never taken out of the payout.

The fee is charged upfront with your entry, not taken out of the pot: 10% of your entry (minimum $0.25 per player). Example: a $10 entry is split into a $1 fee and $9 into the pot, so a $10 vs $10 match creates an $18 pot and the winner receives all $18. The fee is shown before you enter and itemized in your wallet history. Prime members pay $0 fee, so their full entry goes into the pot.

Both players report the result after the match. When the reports agree, the pot is released to the winner right away. If the reports conflict, the match goes to dispute and a moderator reviews the submitted evidence before awarding the pot.

XP Matches

XP matches are completely free — there's no entry fee and no money on the line. You play for XP, which raises your level, moves you up the lifetime ladder, and counts toward your daily crate progress.

You earn XP for playing and winning matches. XP accumulates on your profile and fills the level bar in your account menu — the more matches you complete, the higher your level and ladder rank climb.

Tournaments

Register your team and climb the bracket — all registered teams are placed automatically when the tournament starts. Prize pools are paid to the top finishers based on the tournament's payout structure.

When the bracket finishes, prize money is credited straight to the winning players' wallets based on the tournament's published payout structure, and placement trophies are added to their profiles.

Wallet & Payments

Your Wallet balance is real USD that you've deposited through our payment provider. It is used to enter paid matches and tournaments, and every dollar you win can be withdrawn back out as USD.

Open your wallet, choose Deposit, enter an amount, and pay with your credit or debit card. Your balance updates as soon as the payment is confirmed, and every deposit appears in your wallet history.

Request a withdrawal from your wallet and we'll send your balance back out as USD. Depositing and playing don't require verification, but identity verification is required before your first withdrawal — you'll be prompted to complete a quick check through Persona, and it only has to be done once.

Credit and debit cards, processed securely by our payment provider. You never enter card details on DuelX servers.

Prime Membership

DuelX Prime is our monthly membership for players who compete often. It removes the platform fee from your matches and adds a set of perks on top of the standard experience.

No platform fee — your entire entry goes into the pot instead of the standard 10% match fee (min $0.25) other players pay. Expedited withdrawals with front-of-line processing on every payout request. Free Prime tournament entry, so you skip the buy-in on every Prime bracket. High-priority support, where your tickets jump the queue. Instant team switch, with no cooldown when leaving or joining a new roster.

You can cancel anytime from the Store page. Canceling stops future charges immediately, and you keep every Prime benefit through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Cosmetics & Crates

Crates are free cosmetic drops. Play 3 free XP matches in a day and a crate unlocks for you to open — after you claim one there's a 24-hour cooldown before the next crate becomes available.

Cosmetics only — avatar borders, name colors, profile badges, and match emotes. Items drop by rarity, so rarer cosmetics show up less often. Nothing in a crate affects gameplay or match outcomes.

Yes. Equipping only changes what shows on your profile — every emote you own is usable in match chat at any time.

Eligibility & Location

Paid-play eligibility is determined by a formal legal analysis of skill-gaming rules and is enforced automatically using IP-based geolocation when you sign up, deposit, or enter a paid match or tournament. If your location is eligible, paid entries simply work; if it isn't, you'll be told at the moment you try.

Your detected location isn't currently eligible for paid play, or your connection couldn't be verified (VPNs and proxies are blocked). Free XP matches, tournaments with free entry, leaderboards, and cosmetics remain available everywhere.

Account & Gamertags

You're asked for your gamertag right after signing up, and you can add or edit gamertags for each platform any time from your account settings. A matching gamertag is required before you can enter a match or enroll in a tournament so your opponent can find you in-game.

Yes — change it from Account Settings. Usernames are unique, so the new one has to be available, and your profile URL updates to match.

Disputes & Fair Play

Either player can open a dispute with screenshots or clips. A moderator reviews the evidence and awards the pot to the correct player. Fraudulent claims are penalized.

Report it with evidence — clips or screenshots — through the match dispute flow or live support. Confirmed cheating results in forfeited pots and account action, up to a permanent ban.

Creator Program

The DuelX Creator Program pays a flat rate for qualifying content you post about the platform. Tag @duelxofficial and use #DuelXPartner, submit your posts, and payouts are reviewed and sent manually. Full requirements are on the Creator Program page.
